Responsibilities include:
- Conducting lien searches, proofs of entity documentation, and all other documents necessary to properly prepare correct loan documentation (i.e. Third Party Payoffs, Flood Determinations etc.)
- This paralegal will review and prepare documentation for information and technology services contracts, software licenses, and other outsourcing and information services agreements for financial institutions and other business entities.
- Ensuring that warrant loan proceeds have been executed and received
- This paralegal will also provide support and assist in researching compliance issues.
- Verifying all required documents have been executed and received.
- Maintaining a superior level of knowledge pertaining Loan Policy and Documentation guidelines.
- The selected candidate will be responsible for remaining current on all legal and regulatory requirements; identify and solve any legal issues; coordinate with borrowers, third party vendors (i.e. Attorneys, Title Companies, etc.)
Job Requirements
- Strong writing, interpersonal and communications skills and be able to work effectively with customers, colleagues and outside vendors.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize responsibilities and consistently meet deadlines
- Must have strong computer skills.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
Minimum Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent required.
- Applicants must have a college degree or business background equivalent, preferably working experience in a financial, legal, or regulatory environment.
