Leadership Development Program

Fortegra Financial's Leadership Development Program ("LDP") is designed to institute a cross-training program with participants engaged in rotational, functional assignments in specific business areas. The ultimate objective of the program is to develop a core group of individuals who are capable of performing in all the major sectors of the company. Our two- year rotational program includes training and instruction designed to enhance the leadership and analytical skills of our associates. Associates participating in the LDP are given the opportunity to take part in a wide range of business experiences in order to allow them to grow both professionally and personally.

Experimental Learning
Our objective is to provide the LDP associate with a range of experiences across an array of disciplines. A typical business rotation could include work in the following departments: Internal Audit, Marketing and Sales, Financial Operations, Shared Services - Operational Excellence, Human Resources, Corporate Financial Operations Analysis, and Tax. After each phase, participants will meet with various company leaders to discuss personal performance with the purpose of identifying their strengths and weaknesses within the respective business area.

Goals
Fortegra Financial's LDP was created in 2007 to provide recent college graduates with the fundamental skills that will provide them with a foundation to develop as successful business leaders. We are committed to providing our associates with distinctive and focused mentorship and training opportunities that are overseen by at least one senior manager tasked to ensure that the associate is exposed to a representative range of business experiences and assignments.
