Fortegra Financial is looking for a talented Oracle E-Business Suite Functional Analyst in the areas of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Cash Management modules to play a key role in designing, implementing, and extending the Oracle Financial Applications. Activities will include gathering and defining requirements, configuration of standard applications, gap analysis, functional design of application extensions, and end user support for multiple modules. 

Primary Job Functions

Minimum 7-10 years of Oracle Functional experience with at least two full life cycle Oracle 11i/12 implementation/upgrade project completion in a Functional role with Oracle Financials

The Oracle functional candidate will be part of Oracle Financial team to provide production support, upgrade, and enhancements and feature requests.

Scope of work will include gathering business requirements, performing analysis on the best fit solutions, performing project related documentation, working closely with the team members and business users to develop solutions to the business problems


Education and Skill Requirements

Must have Oracle Applications 11i/12 implementation, upgrade and production support experience in an Oracle Financial Functional

Experience with financial process analysis; process design, mapping, and re-engineering; process/software gap analysis and resolution; troubleshooting and issue resolution with Oracle Applications Financial module configuration and use; and test script creation and testing
  This position also requires Oracle Applications 11i/12 module configuration and process use for financial modules including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and Cash Management

 Knowledge in underlying Oracle Applications database architecture with regard to Financial module schemas/products, standard (API's) application program interfaces, data elements, tables, and views as basis for troubleshooting, data conversion and reporting support as well as experience in the functional design and design review of Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications. Implementation experience of Cash Management module, strong insight into Bank Statements loading and reconciliation processes, exceptional understanding of Bank statement file formats like BAI, 820, SWIFT, etc, and excellent understanding of the Cash Management integration with AP module

 BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related degree.
